Elaine Schamber, CFP®, AIFA®, Ph.D.

Elaine Schamber, founder of The Schamber Group, is independent in every sense of the word. Owning her own business allows her to provide advanced planning services and support to the people she serves without compromise. She prides herself on the consultative, collaborative focus of her firm and the individuality it represents.

Elaine has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial industry and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst^®. She is a believer in lifelong education and has a bachelor’s degree in horticultural business, a master’s degree in biology education, and a doctorate in population genetics.

Elaine is a resident of Layfayette, Indiana, and proud alumni of Purdue University, where she earned all of her collegiate degrees. Outside of work she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Financial Planner

Dan Suiter, CFP®, AIF®

Dan Suiter joined The Schamber Group in early 2009 and specializes in participant support and education. He seeks to communicate key information in a way that is easy to understand and develop a lasting rapport with all our clients. Dan holds several advanced planning credentials, including the Certified Financial Planner™ certification and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® designation.

Dan graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in financial counseling and planning. He is a veteran, serving in the 25^th Infantry Division in the US Army, including a tour in Iraq. He credits his time serving our nation for his interest in financial planning, as a chance conversation with his lieutenant spurred an interest in the subject that resulted in his current career.

Outside of work, Dan stays busy with his family – he is the proud father of four boys.
